Orlando Bat Control

You are visiting this site because you have bats in your Orlando home or building. You may have just discovered them - flying out of your home at dusk, leaving scattered droppings below. Or you may have known about a large population of bats in your building for some time, but now the situation is getting out of hand, with hundreds or thousands of bats, and a strong odor. Regardless, a colony of bats in a building is a serious matter. The colony will never leave, it will only grow in size, you don't like the sight or odor of the animals, and the droppings they leave behind can be hazardous to your health, not to mention the risk of rabies.

We can help you. We are Florida's foremost experts on bat colony removal. We remove 100% of the bats, with a perfect success rate, we do not harm a single bat, we completely bat-proof your home or building, and we clean and decontaminate the mess that they leave behind - call us at 407-378-6099

We are based in Orlando, FL. We operate 24/7, and strive for the highest level of customer service - we show up as scheduled, in clean truck and uniform, and we use the best equipment. We are fully licensed and insured. We offer a full written guarantee on our work, and provide a full range of services for all of your bat control needs. We are intimately familiar with and compliant with the special laws regarding bat removal in the state of Florida. We put a great deal of care and pride into our work, and make sure that the bat problem is gone for good.

Superior Bat Exclusion: We have trained for years specially on bat control, in several states in the USA. We specialize in Florida bat control, and the two primary colonizing species of bats, the Brazilian Free-Tail Bat (Tadarida brasiliensis), and the Evening Bat (Nycticeius humeralis). Of the two, the Free-Tail bat is more common. Regardless, we are intimately familiar with the biology and behavior of all of Florida's bats. These two species in particular love to live in the attics or walls of homes and buildings. They form large groups, known as maternity colonies. These groups of bats never leave, and can grow to a very large size. Every summer, the female bats give birth to their baby bats, which are unable to fly for about eight weeks, though they can walk. When we come to your property, we inspect the building and study your bat problem often with a night watch. We remove all of the bats via specialty exclusion methods, such as seen in the photo to the left. Not a single bat is harmed during the process, and they are all evicted, and none are able to get back in.

Residential Homes: We know that you don't want bats in your attic. They can be noisy, smelly, scary, and worst of all, a legitimate health risk. Most of the cases of rabies transmission in the United States are from bats. In addition, the bats leave behind a large amount of droppings (guano) in your attic and walls. These droppings can grow mold over time, the spores of which can cause lung infections for the people inside the house. If you have bats in your attic, they won't just go away on their own. There is no magic bat repellent to simply make them go away. There are many gimmicks sold online, such as ultrasonic sound devices, powders and sprays, but I assure you that these things don't work. You are more than welcome to test them out (even though several are illegal in FL), but they won't do a thing. The only way to remove the colony of bats permanently and legally is to allow them to fly out of their normal exit points, via one-way exclusion devices. It is imperative that the process is done correctly, and that all secondary entry points into the home are sealed.

Commercial Properties: We can remove bats from any possible structure. We have worked on all kinds of commercial properties - from large apartment and condominium complexes, to shopping malls, hotels, parking garages, the RDV Sportsplex, and even the jumbotron at SeaWorld. We have the best in insurance, and we are one of the very few properly licensed companies in the state of Florida. We have experience working the largest and toughest projects. Call us any time, and we can come to your property to perform a full inspection, discuss your options, and give you a professional written project and price proposal. Remember, if you have bats in your building, they pose a potential liability due to the health risks of the mold in the droppings, as well as the rabies risk. And many clients/tenants do not want to use a building full of bats! We evict them all, safely and in accordance with the laws set forth by the Florida Wildlife Commission, and Department of Agriculture. We seal your building and make sure that it is 100% bat-proof, and we give a guarantee on our work. We also provide guano cleanup and sanitization services.

Attic Decontamination: One of the most important steps in bat control work is the cleanup process once the bats are all out. Bats leave behind large quantities of droppings when they inhabit a building. If the colony is large and has been around for a while, these droppings can be several feet deep and even collapse a ceiling (I've seen this happen). The accumulation of guano smell bad of course, but even if you can't smell it, there's a worse danger. Mold can grow on the droppings, and that mold can lead to lung diseases such as histoplasmosis. This is a health threat to the people inside the building. When we remove your bats, we inspect the amount of droppings they have left behind, and if necessary, perform an attic cleanout. We remove and vaccuum out the droppings, and we fog the attic space (as seen in the photo to the left) with a special enzyme-based cleaner that kills all odors, molds, pathogens, and even parasites that bats leave behind. A bat job isn't complete without this important step!
