Bat Repellant

I must apologize, but there is really no such thing as an effective bat repellant. In fact, it's spelled repellEnt, but that doesn't matter. What does matter is that unfortunately, there's no cheap and easy fix to a bat problem in a house or bats in the attic. You can't just find some powder or spray bomb or something that will make the bats decide to leave. Once they find a building to roost in, they are extremely stubborn. They're also protected by law, and your attempt to use a bat repellant is probably illegal. But I assure you, it won't work. Go ahead and try as many as you want. And those high-pitched ultrasonic sound machines are a joke as well. The only way to get rid of bats is to physically exclude them, such as is seen in the photo to the left. The bats fly out of your house every evening. Heck, darkness is the real bat repellent, they leave the attic once it gets dark! The trick is to install one-way exclusion devices that they can fly out of, but not back into. Then seal up the entry holes! This job is usually a lot easier said than done, and it's best to hire a professional to do it. Our company services central FL.
